PUSTOLOVINE HUCKLEBERRYJA FINNA/ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN, Zagrebačko kazalište lutaka (Hrvatska)

Dvojica dječaka, Huck i Jim, bježe iz svijeta odraslih koji im nameće pravila i nepravde te na splavi kojom plove niz rijeku Mississippi traže slobodu i prostor u kojem mogu biti svoji. Putovanje ih vodi kroz niz pustolovina, od susreta s trgovcima robljem i komičnim prevarantima do stvarnih opasnosti i odluka koje traže hrabrost.

Ova predstava donosi Twainovu poznatu priču u suvremenom kazališnom duhu, spajajući živu glumu, lutke i glazbu. Humor i energični songovi izmjenjuju se s emotivnim prizorima stvarajući atmosferu u kojoj publika svih uzrasta može doživjeti pustolovinu, ali i prepoznati pitanja koja su jednako važna danas kao i u vrijeme nastanka romana.

U središtu priče i predstave je jednostavna, ali bitna misao - sloboda nije samo bijeg od pravila nego i spremnost da čujemo i prihvatimo drugog i drugačijeg. Huck i Jim svojim prijateljstvom pokazuju da hrabrost i povjerenje mogu nadjačati predrasude i strah.

Putovanje Hucka i Jima podsjeća nas da se kroz pustolovine može zabaviti, ali i nešto naučiti. Djeca će u ovoj priči otkriti koliko su hrabrost, prijateljstvo i znatiželja važni za slobodu. Putovanje Hucka i Jima potiče da vjeruju kako svatko može pronaći svoj put, svoje mjesto i svoje prijatelje, bez obzira na prepreke. 

Two boys, Huck and Jim, escape from the world of adults that imposes rules and injustices on them, and set out on a raft drifting down the Mississippi River in search of freedom and a place where they can be themselves. Their journey takes them through a series of adventures, from encounters with slave traders and tricksters to real dangers and decisions that require courage.

This performance brings you Twain’s well-known story in a contemporary theatrical form, combining live acting, puppetry, and music. Humour and energetic songs alternate with emotional scenes, creating an atmosphere in which audiences of all ages can experience adventure, while also recognising issues that are just as relevant today as they were when the novel was written.

At the heart of the story and the performance lies a simple but essential idea: freedom is not only escape from rules, but also the willingness to listen to and accept others who are different. Through their friendship, Huck and Jim show that courage and trust can overcome prejudice and fear.

The journey of Huck and Jim reminds us that adventure can be both entertaining and educational. In this story, children learn how important courage, friendship, and curiosity are for freedom. The journey encourages Huck and Jim to believe that everyone can find their own path, their own place, and their own friends, regardless of the obstacles.
